The computer has revolutionized cosmetic surgery.  Using the Mirror Image system, I can take your photo and manipulate the image to help you understand what plastic surgery can and can not do.

 

This system is useful for teaching patients and allowing for realistic expectations.  The computer is most useful for imaging noses and contour changes such as liposuction.

 

During your facial cosmetic surgery or body contouring consultation, your photographs will be reviewed and, if appropriate, the images will be manipulated on the computer.

 

The most recent addition to this system is a sun-damage assessment imaging program.  With the use of sophisticated digital photography and software programs, I can document established sun damage to the skin.  As you progress through a skin care program, with creams and peels or laser procedures, we can follow the changes and hopefully the reversal of sun damage to the skin.

 

It is important to remember that this exercise is not a guarantee of future appearance.  The computer can do wonders, but there are so many variables associated with surgery that guarantees are impossible.  For this reason, you will not be able to receive copies of the manipulated images.
